Tanzania 2025
The Bulletins
By Emma Oriani
In the past few months, our Year 12 students have given presentations to students from foundation to high school about the incredible opportunity we have this year to travel to Tanzania. Like many upperclassmen and graduates before us, this life-changing experience will give us the chance to explore the beauty of Tanzania while truly making an impact on its community in this extraordinary blend of adventure and service.
This journey is about building connections - both with the people of Tanzania and within ourselves. It’s a chance to understand and learn about a new culture firsthand, work towards a common goal, and create long-term results that will last long after the trip is over. Many of you will soon find yourselves given this same chance, and while this excursion may feel far away, it will be here sooner than you know. To help us prepare for this journey and support the communities we’ll be working with, we encourage you to continue participating in our fundraising efforts. Your contributions will play a crucial role in helping the Maji Ya Chai community!
On behalf of our entire group, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated and donated during our Wear Anything Tanzania Day. It was an even greater success than we had hoped. Looking ahead, there are plenty of ways to help! Keep an eye out for upcoming fundraising events, including the yearly Turkey Trot on November 14th. Your participation will really make a difference!
